Destination swinging 50s for two Eastern flavoured rock n'roll/jazz instrumentals. Ray Ellis is most famed for his work on film and with Billy Holiday but here he's composed a superb blues-based jam with ardent muted horns and some of the funkiest organ action you'll hear all week. Meanwhile on the B we find The Sheiks delivering a dusty slab of horn based rock n'rolla complete with a big swing and major calls to dancefloor action. Sheik, rattle and roll, baby!
