JT Donaldson returns to Hudd Traxx after his recent "Just Bounce" release. This time he takes it deeper with two slices of cutting edge house music on "The Greatest Kahn EP". First up is "The Future", a deep house groover with live guitar riffs, synthy stabs and a big bassline. Flip for the slick techno/house hybrid "Space Habitat". A very low key bouncy minimal groove holds you in place while a series of alien transmissions and distortions are introduced with tasteful restraint for maximum appreciation. Last up is the Underground Culture Tourist's remix which dismisses the subtleties and totally exploits the infectious nature of the track.
