The lack of wider acclaim for Brassica, despite some excellent releases over the years on labels such as Dissident, Nocturnes and Relish as well as a live show that is guaranteed to move feet, remains one of those unexplainable mysteries. Newly signed to Civil Music, this Temple Fortune 12" release might balance the scales of fortune somewhat and it also gives us another chance to lay praise on Brassica's excellent "Lydden Circuit". Originally released on last year's Cyberdance compilation Messages From The Void Vol 2, "Lydden Circuit" didn't really get the wide audience the track merited despite an excellent accompanying video. The retro futurist 2 stepper still sounds spine chillingly immense today, and comes accompanied by three new Brassica productions, with the Ghostape featuring "Millieux Metrix" a real highlight!
