Having spent a good couple of years engrossed in the murky world of industrial techno through Subjected's Vault Series, Moerbeck now kicks off the Code Is Law label with four creeping, twitching weapons grade cuts. "Bump & Run" keeps things bleak with a simple kick snare and hat combo fugged in sonic crud and surrounded by atmospheric disturbances. There's a slowed-down "The Bells" quality to "Teens On Fire", except infested with a demonic electro spirit that appears in brief flashes. It's a similar story told a different way on "Pleasure To Burn", maximising on sinister arpeggios and delicate splashes of drums but constantly driven by a throbbing sub bass. "Numb It Down" cools off the tension slightly with a clearer house refrain, but there's still definitely a ghost in the machine.
