The ever-strong Analogue Solutions imprint continues its dedicated series for Eduardo De La Calle with two sublimely restrained cuts of dub techno. The grainy echoes and muted kicks are certainly familiar ground, but then this kind of music has always been about the overall vibe rather than distracting decoration. There's no faking this kind of militant approach to minimalism, paring everything down to such sweet simplicity as to take your mind to a plethora of places. It's an acquired taste, but this is certainly the strong end of the spectrum for dubwise DJs. Highly recommended.
