The first of a two part release, here we're treated to four startling remakes and edits of Strictly classics ranging from 1991 (Sanchez & Jefferson's "Keep On Jumpin'") to 2008 (Chocolate Puma & Bingo Players). Wax Motif and Neoteric's super-tight jack attack on Sneak's "Throw Your Hands Up" is a major highlight. As is JD Twitch's loop hypnosis approach to "Keep On Jumpin'". Actually, so is Monkey Safari's garage-shuffled groove on "Touch Me". Shucks, Poupon's tech-edged rub of Mayer and Clark rocks hard, too, thanks to a deep warehouse vibe.
