Chazwick Bundick aka Toro Y Moi has been putting out a steady stream of essential music (just don't call it chillwave) for about three years now. His Underneath The Pine album, released earlier this year on Carpark Records included the inspiring track "Still Sound". Now on German label Amazing Sounds, the track has been revisited and re-worked by Toby Tobias and Voodoo Bear. Tobias's remixes holds a relaxed groove; downtempo and smooth but with a funky head nodding bounce and subtle builds and breaks. His dub mix is jazzier, intricate and funk-fuelled with addictive guitar plucks and rapid shakers marking it out as Juno's pick of the cut. Voodoo Bear takes up the second remix duty and comes up with a surprisingly abstract take. Choral chants, sprinkled bells and an underlying rhythm colour this into an almost synth-pop hue.
