Klein and Mansfield are definitely two heavyweights of the San Fran Disco scene and this twelve inch for the latter's Hector Works imprint sees them buddy up once again for three cuts of midtempo sleaze. "Front Butt" lays it on thick for fans of the cowbell with a chugging beat that only just breaks free of a decidedly gloopy twilight bass line, whilst "Raindance" slips from a moody low end throb into a equally hypnotic spinal synth hum augmented by cascading key stabs. On the flip "Steel The Summer" ups the tempo with bass heavy tropical stomper with a prominence for the type of drum referenced in the title - there's some epic slo mo new beat vibes if you drop the rpm to 33 on this one too!
