Making his second appearance on Robbie Rivera's Juicy label, South African producer Paul Bingham follows his massive "Buzz" track with "Sounds Like Acid". As you would expect from the title, this track is laced to the max with hefty acidic influences, a smidgen of spoken vocals pop in and out of the track, with a bouncy synth bassline to warp your ears and blow your mind! Remixes here come courtesy of Armand Pena, no stranger to the Juicy camp, he turns in a rocking bassbuster of a mix, again opting for the heavy synthy hooks and noises to send the dancefloor completely nuts! The final mix comes from Tony Arzadon who delivers a more straight-up house version, bringing together a new bassline and structure, whilst the energetic drive is there in bundles with the vox hook once again peeping through. Dave Lambert (Mostiko / Hed Kandi / Hype Chart) says "Like this one especially the Tony Arzadon remix! Will play! Strong Juicy release!"; Lewis Dene (Update / BBCi / DJ Mag) says "Hard, heavy, distorted acid - in the right place and time. This would work a treat - at home in the cold light of day, it's a head f*ck!"; Paul Hughes (Energy FM) says "Juicy Trax as always are seriously on the case. The music just speaks for itself. Once again they deliver with a peaktime bomb courtesy of Paul Bingham. I've not a problem with any of the mixes, in fact I've played them all out in my clubs. Radio plays already from me with the Tony Arzadon mix which is possibly my fav. As always my 110% support, spreading the word."; Rooster & Peralta say "7/10, the original mix is the one for us!".
