Pocket Money is an independent label based out of Manchester dedicated to releasing modern underground house music with rhythm and soul, influenced by New York, Detroit and Chicago. They return with their fifth release to date, this time collaborating with Polish artist Soul Habitat: an artist firmly rooted in the deeper end of the house pool and this EP is a shining example of his commitment to it. Starting off with the smooth and sexy late night deepness of "8th Avenue" which is reminiscent of local Manchester legend Greg Fenton, the flipside shows off some real panache too with "The Feeling" which is an emotive and uplifting vocal house scorcher (with a razor sharp bassline) and then the absolutely electric Mr Fingers tribute "Class Of 909".
