Minimal house maverick Peter Kremeier aka Losoul shows why his work has endured long after the mnml implosion. The title track is powered by firing, filtered percussion and yelping analogue riffs, but at its heart there's a menacing junglist bassline that lends it a weight and resonance that is superior to 99 per cent of minimal productions. On "Fogger", he opts for a radically different approach. The sound is warmer and dubbier and the track sounds like it has been pushed through a murky filter. Yet despite the dubby beats and more organic approach, Kremeier maintains the dance floor momentum with a bouncy acid line and snappy percussion.
