Given the clear tech-house, techno and - whisper it quietly - progressive house influences surging through Scuba's Claustrophobia album, it seems rather fitting that the Hotflush Recordings founder has decided to get it remixed by an impressive array of 4/4 talents. Clearly aimed at the big, dark rooms he now plays, the ten reworks that make up Claustrophobia Remixes are all tried-and-tested club workouts. Highlights are naturally plentiful, and include a terrifically tactile, '90s-influenced revision of "Transience" by Tough City Kids, a hypnotic, stripped-back take on All I Think About Is Death from veteran after-party specialist Radio Slave, and Atom TM's psychedelic, acid-tinged interpretation of "Television".
