Belfast's Rebel VP inaugurates new Irish label Koma, and it's off to a promising start if this is anything to go by. It's fierce, funky and bumpy business on first track "Fugazi", sounding like a cross between Phil Weeks and Derrick Carter; not a bad thing. Rolling minimal vibes are the order of the day, up next on the remix by London's Maksy. On the flip, things roll even harder on the tough and dark "Melancholy" sounding like something off Gruuv or Saved but on way more ketamine. Finally "Charlie Says" ends things on a sombre and trippy deep house tip.
