Quentin first appeared on Hivern Discs back in 2014, contributing a track to a limited edition 7" pressed to celebrate a sold-out label party at Oval Space in London. Two years on, he returns with a hotly anticipated debut 12". A-side "Mirage" is something of a metronomic dancefloor treat, with the producer layering stabbing electronics and undulating synthesizer lines over a restless, click-heavy rhythm track. As house and techno tracks go, it's definitely at the more atmospheric end of the scale. Flipside "Rain" is an altogether woozier affair, with a bleeping, melancholic intro ushering in a drowsy tech-house shuffler full of distant vocal samples and bittersweet melodies.
