Looking over the various projects Max 'Patricia'' Ravitz has been involved in over the past few years, it's clear the New York-based artist is open to the idea of collaboration. There was the Masks project with Alexis 'Arp' Georgopoulos which saw release on Opal Tapes, whilst LIES slipped out an Inhalants 12" from Ravitz and Jahiliyya Fields. The LIES affiliations remain strong with this Pulpo 12" for Russian Torrent Versions which finds Ravitz working with Nik 'Bookworms' Dawson on four heavy techno doses. Mainlining down a similar chaotic path to Dawson's recent Bookworms outing on LIES, CCCP 16 is one of the best Russian Torrent Versions 12"s in some time with the submerged drama of "Track 2" really hitting the spot.
