Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts - a producer with a peerless production moniker - returns for the first time since his impressive album for Parisian imprint Circus Company in mid 2010, this time on the Oslo label. Energetic conga work and nice deep bass make "Praise To The Beat Maker" a real treat, with Dave Aju correctly informing us "it's that beat, it's that beat, so sweet" in a spoken word hook that sits nicely atop a cavalcade of undulating instrumentation. "Promess Lovin" and "All You Have To Do" compete for your attention on the flip, with the former's glorious 90s chords taking the cake.
