The Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus mixer features enhanced digital connectivity, cutting edge effects, new X-pad touch strip beat effect control, high performance features and most importantly the familiar layout based on the industry-standard DJM-800 club mixer.

To enable enhanced digital connectivity, the DJM-900 Nexus mixer has a 4-channel 96 kHz/24bit Traktor certified audio interface which streams all audio signals with no loss of sound quality. The Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus unlocks DVS control allowing DJs to connect 1 USB cable and control Traktor with Timecode CD and/or vinyl directly through the mixer with no need for an additional audio interface.

The DJM-900 includes 6 impressive studio-quality Sound Colour FX enabling DJs to creatively add extra dimensions to any DJ set. All 4 channels feature a dedicated FX processor. In addition to the essential filter and crush, the DJM-900 Nexus boasts 4 new effects, noise, space, dub echo and gate/comp.

The built-in X-pad brings instant 1-finger beat effect performances. Users of the CDJ-2000 and CDJ-900 can hit the DJM-900 Nexus quantize button to lock all these new effects to the beatgrid of the playing deck with all data transmitted over the Pro DJ link system. When it comes to sound quality the DJM-900 Nexus is a class leader with a 32bit A/D converter that digitizes and enhances sound quality for all outputs, while the 32bit digital signal processor (DSP) suppresses digital noise. Analogue noise is reduced through balanced hybrid operation amps and output circuits. Even the onboard audio interface is in a league of its own, supporting 96 kHz/24bit high resolution signal processing. The onboard USB soundcard can simultaneously input and output all audio signals with no degradation of sound quality. A user-friendly interface on the PC allows DJs to tweak the output signal path to suit various activities.
