A lovely post-Christmas pressie from Claude 'call me Santa' VonStroke, who reissues the legendary "Percolator" by Cajmere on his Dirtybird imprint. The original still sounds as thumping and wigged out as it did back in 92, and here gets a full on Chicago juke refix by DJ Gant-Man! Claude himself rounds off the package, adding his idiosyncratic touch with a sprawling edit on the flip, chopping up the vocals and laying them on top of beefy club drums and a fat rolling groove. By the time the full vocal refrain drops during the mid section, the crowd will eating from the palm of your hand.
