When this record arrived we actually called up Payphone and asked him whether he was sure about his artist name. A lot of the younger ravers won't have a clue what a payphone is! He told us not to be so stupid and to just review his record. That's us told, then. Essentially "Payphone" merges uplifting Euro synths and vocals with a more gritty, bass-flecked fidget approach. The end result is four different takes on a very catchy, uplifting dance cut that may well bode well on the wireless too. Oh, wait. We mean radio. Sorry younger ravers.
