Following the hype around a record as hot as Copyright's recent "He Is" on Defected was never going to be an easy task, but returning to their own label, the duo pull it out of the bag once again with a carnival-flavoured summer groove. All plucked strings, chanted African vocals and layered percussion courtesy of Defected's drum maestro Shovell, reminiscent of Martin Solveig's classic "Maidan" remix from a few years back. The intoned title finishes things off nicely. The beats come to the fore on the included drum tool, and the Afropella lifts the chants from the track providing another opportunity for DJs to get creative. The Djembe dub adds even more percussive flourishes for an excellent live-sounding take that builds and drops perfectly despite being stripped down. In conclusion, this is more top quality output from the prolific duo and another clear display of their production versatility.
