Civil Music regular Om Unit returns with a second limited 10" pressing of edits from his personal armoury, deftly scaling the crawl space between mid 80bpm beats and the freneticism of 170+ bpm footwork. Both tracks here mirror the inaugural volume in being equally potent for last dance manoeuvres or heat of the moment swerve, and the focus of Om Unit's attention this time are two of European synth brethren's more hirsute alumni. It's pretty obvious from the grainy black and white artwork that adorns this plate whose the source material is, but Om Unit really flaunts his beat programming skills across both tracks, with dynamic button pushing underpinning the Aphrodite's child's sax play on "Le Singe". "Traum" is even more impressive with agile rhythms perfectly synced to the undulating cosmiche drama that unfolds.
