It's been the speculation of many a dubstep forum, blog and YouTube channel, but "Old Era" is finally available. And it's damn-near essential. Hinting at THE most formative stage of dubstep's history (neatly summed up by Caspa & Rusko's Fabriclive session), here Joker references what's already been deemed as classic - bright, bold halfsteps with aggressive but charming hooks and a swagger that's both gritty and sexy. So many people imitate it, very few succeed. Joker, naturally, has nailed it. And so has fellow Bristolian remixer Gemmy for that matter. Old school vibes.
