Rewind to 2014: Nuage released a golden shore Balearic album that trembled with future wave and tropical echoes. Fast forward to 2016: Four of the album's many highlights are given the D&B treatment they deserve; Blu Mar Ten retain the humanised elements while adding a strong skip to the break while Nuage themselves switch the cascading harmony of "Waterfalls" into a pacier halftime/deep jungle hybrid. Bop follows with a spring microfunk shake up of the Afrobeat while the smoky introversions of "Shining" are flipped into something much more persistent and jazzy by The Levels. Bliss.
