Possessing a seemingly endless record collection, this 24 track CD showcases an admirably dusty selection of cuts from the Land of the Rising Sun in a mix that brilliantly veers from string-laden soul and soundtrack oddness, to bumpin' funk and grandiose disco. Frustratingly, there are no track or artist credits - not that any of us part-timers would be able to find the records even if we knew - but in many ways it doesn't matter.
