Forward Strategy Group return to Ali Perc's increasingly impressive imprint with this three tracker that sees the Glasgow based outfit continue to mine the darkest and most foreboding corners of industrial-tinged techno. The shuffling hats and sparse atmospherics of "Arcnet" open proceedings, before we reach the irresistibly funky "Token Ring", a track which would go down just as well in a house set as a techno one thanks to its cleverly clipped vocal loop. Flip over for some sinister mindf*ck twisted mechanics in the form of "Tayo Olowu", which sees FSG at their unrelenting finest. What we'd give to see the reaction of a sweaty dancefloor throng when this one gets dropped at silly o'clock!
