After a string of excellent singles on ESP Institute - not least the brilliant Gomez land EP - Japanese duo Cos/Mes relocate to Belgium's King Kung Foo Records. "Naruto" is a typically eccentric treat, coming on like "Assassin" era Orb jamming with Mungolian Jetset after a particularly heavy night on the sauce. The percussion is slow, dense and delirious, the guitars languid and the pedal steel almost glistening with the sweat of steamy Hawaiian afternoons. Belgium's own Ronny and Renzo remix, utilising some of the original's dreamier elements in a late night techno workout that's satisfyingly hypnotic.
