The full length debut Superpumas album, 'Muscles' delivers immaculately produced electronica with a pop edge, blending house, techno and break beat with subtle elements of hip hop, disco, r 'n' b and electro that caters for the feet as much as it does for the head. Opening cut, 'Muscles' sets the tone with its spacey synths and infectious break beat groove, followed by the laid back Scandinavian techno pop of 'Clear'. Next up 'Beatette' is one of the many highlights from the album - Alan Parsons (I Robot/Mammagamma era) jamming with Giorgio Moroder at a rave party - introspective rave music anyone?
