MOTU MicroBook II Audio Interface
MOTU have announced a new addition to their range in the form of their new Microbook II, which has been design to build on their original device. The MOTU Microbook II has been designed to provide a compact, studio-grade audio interface that converts any Mac or PC into a personal 4 x 6 recording studio, complete with professional I/O and monitor mixing.
Measuring just 5.5" x 3.5" x 1.25" the mini MOTU Microbook II is equipped with USB 2.0 audio Mac and Windows interface for low-latency performance, 6 x simultaneous outputs, 1 x XLR mic input, and support for 96 kHz recording and playback.
The MicroBook II comes in a compact, rugged cast metal case suitable for on-the-go recording, personal studio tracking, laptop-based DJing, and other recording and playback applications. The portable unit, roughly the size of one's hand, is bus-powered and offers all the same features of the original model and then some.
