Amazingly, it's some 13 years since Balearic-minded Danish DJ/producer Kenneth Bager founded the Music for Dreams imprint. The label's releases are relatively few and far between these days, but those 12" singles Bager does release are usually top notch. This second Sunset Sessions selection is a case in point. It's packed with sweet, effortlessly atmospheric nu-Balearic gems, from the drifting downtempo pop bliss of Turbotito's remix of Baby Alpaca's "Sea of Dreams" to the piano-laden rush of Emil Germ's delicious "Tease & Burn". Best of all, though, is Bager's own "Fat Bottom Penguins", a tasty chunk of dancefloor-centric dub built around delay-laden synths and a brilliantly rubbery electric bassline.
