The ever smooth ESP Institute continues unabated with this pair of remixes of label favourites Soft Rocks, and as you might imagine there's romantic reverbs and laconic percussion aplenty, not least on Ray Mang's remix of "Mirador De Las Estrellas". The keys echo and chime in a most cosmic of arrangements while the detailed beat rolls out with splashing cymbals and pattering bongos, and everything simmers with a sun-baked charm that's hard to resist. Cage and Aviary take to "Slowdown" with an appropriately glacial take on things, letting the delays touch on distorting feedback and placing the emphasis on a Moogish bassline.
