The award for most lovingly presented twelve inch of the week has to go to Berlin residing Italian duo Discodromo on the newly minted Discaire imprint. Arriving in an oversize twelve inch envelope which houses a one sided twelve inch replete with lovely label artwork and accompanied by a somewhat risque press release and a big slab of cardboard, fans of vinyl will be impressed before they've even heard the music. It's a good thing that the music matches the presentation - with "Mercurio" a rough, pummelling 8 minute excursion into fully flexing disco perfectly suited for the modern sweat filled basement discoteque.
