Once more showcasing Spektrum's forward-thinking approach to dance music, 'May Day' - the original of which was released last year on a limited 7 inch - is back due to popular demand with some killer new mixes. Alongside the original version, and a new extended dub mix, Spektrum present fresh new remix talent in the form of Manchester’s Tramp! alongside international dance music heroes DJ T and Booka Shade of Get Physical (DJ Magazine’s #1 Label Of The Year 2005 etc). Tramp! is a weekly knees-up in Manchester run by resident jocks James Smith and Wi Dunn. This is Tramp!'s debut remix, a grinding dance floor anthem with a nostalgic 80's twist. DJ T and Booka Shade from Berlin's Get Physical need an introduction. Having remixed the greatest names dance music currently has to offer between them, most recently Mylo, Moby and The Juan MacLean, as we as producing their own music, these pioneers of global electronic music have turned 'May Day' into a scorching playful dub-tinged electro romp over a fierce military bassline.
