"Love Will Save Youngtee" |
Coming to the fore in notable style with the debut release on Sir Andrew Blake's In Plain Sight label, the mysterious YoungTEE surprised a few people with his next release; a killer downtempo bass heavy mangling of the world's most famous Barbadian slipped out on a white label. Emboldened by the praise to this release, Youngtee belatedly returns with another reworking, this time focusing on the world's most famous and much missed exponent of the money note. As anyone who's witnessed a mass female rush for the dancefloor after "I Wanna Dance With Numbers" gets dropped can attest, the formula of Whitney Houston vocals over a four/four beat is foolproof and YoungTEE's update of her late 80s classic "Love Will Save The Day" is a sublime deep house revision.
