Terry's first self-produced album and the album he is most proud of celebrating his return to Chicago's recording studios for the first time since the 80's. On 'Lookin' Out' the emphasis has been on going back to Terry Callier's soulful acoustic side. The sound has Terry's voice in a minimalist setting not too far way from late Johnny Cash sessions. 'Lookin' Out' features The Beatles' classic 'And I Love Her' and the Hardkandy co-produced single 'Stripper'. The front cover features Terry Callier at Chicago's Green Mill club which was once owned by Al Capone.
