COLDWAVE/SYNTH: As one of the standout cuts from their recent Lucifer set, it's good to see "Lo Hi" getting its own vinyl release. Keeping things simple, the track comes in radio edit and full form, although quite how many stations will be reaching for this for their drive-time playlists remains to be seen. It would be a better world if they did though; this kind of lilting, exploratory update on dub ethics has such a sunny disposition it could soothe even the most savage road rage. The loping swathes of synth, organ and tumbling beats are set just perfectly to be strange without aggravating. Recommended.
