Solu Music return with their first new material since their debut full length, "Affirmation". DJ Fudge has been called in to rework "Let It Flow", using a great analog bassline to underpin Kai Martin's sultry vocal, while stellar keys, shuffling, regimented beats, and subtle stabs flesh out this late night house groover perfectly. Fudge's dub take drops the vocal in favour of bright, wandering keys on a trackier take. On the flipside, "Tenement" sees the boys serving out some typically deep Solu goodness, with superb percussion, a rich bassline, and stellar strings and keys stabs for a lush, late night offering very much in the style of their "Barracuda" cut. Their "Brotha Sista dub" version adds a wicked guitar lick and strong organ stabs to the mix, as well as a killer breakdown, whilst that grooving bassline keeps everything nice and tight.
