"Learning" is four tracks of typically disciplined but rocking Surgeon gear as you might expect from the Dynamic Tension label. As with many of the releases on the label, the four cuts investigate different aspects of the same theme, which is to say that there are sounds and grooves that are common to the four tracks, but as a whole each track sounds very different.
