Essential prog release of the week here from Morphosis Records, with the mesmerizingly melodic Laika EP by AFT Gang aka Adrien Aubrun. Following big supported releases on Armada and Solaris, the consistency is once again there. Crystal clear production, the title track 'Laika' has 'big room' slapped all over it, with a killer hooky lead and rollercoaster twist antics. 'New Wave, New Travel' on the b-side although a slightly more laidback affair, Is another standout single in its own right. Grab it now, and keep them peeled for this name over the next year.
