Review
Chosen by Kitsune head Gildas Loaec and artist Andre Saraiva, this collection showcases a number of acts associated with the beloved French label that rarely gets the spotlight on them outside of Paris. Destin's opening "Adelaide" for example is sung in French, and sounds brilliantly camp and melodramatic as does Birkil's "Shade Of Doubt", which manages to sound like about four Discovery-era Daft Punk songs playing at the same time (which obviously means it's pretty damn good). With Logo, Sauvage and Yan Wagner nestling up against more established names like BeatauCue and Jamaica, this is a real trove of Gallic talent.
