Big re-release of DJ Sneak's classic "Keep Groovin", first released on the seminal Strictly Rhythm label way back in 1996 (wow that makes us feel old). Given a spit and polish for 2010, it's scary to think how contemporary the original still sounds, with frenzied strings and hands-up vocals making for the perfect disco-influenced house jam. There are all the requisite highs and lows, fades and drops that signalled the ear of 90s' Strictly Rhythm house ala Lil' Louis, Masters At Work and of course Sneak. This EP, released on Sneak's own Classic imprint, comes replete with a remix from fellow house icon Ian Pooley, who reels back the strings for a warmer offering. Sneak also pulls a couple of hitherto unreleased versions out of the woodwork, ideal for DJs who want to give their crowd a fresh spin on a classic.
