Fresh original funk from the Editorial crew, once again. Oozing organic elements, rich instrumentation and slow, steady hooks, each of these four cuts are so fine-tuned for the summer it's ridiculous. Lonely Boy & Random Soul initiate proceedings with a Bootsy-level funk salvo, all whispers, juicy bass and a groove that rises and rises and rises. The Cosmic Playerz follow suit with the best collaboration Chromeo and Daft Punk have never done. Matt Hughes gets all slinky and filtered and finally BG Baareegaard ends the show with slug-like jack that's peppered with lo-fi disco samples and strange warped trippy twangs. Genuinely beautiful.
