Having made a name for himself in the more classically informed end of the modern house spectrum, John Dimas returns to his regular haunt One Records with a new single of no-nonsense house music. There's a dubby sway to the melodic content that chugs through the centre of "Hypnotize Me", while the beat stays fresh and bouncy like all NJ-influenced drums should. On the flipside Nail step up for a remix, bringing a more staccato rhythm to the table along with a chunky square wave bassline, wielding the elements with the poise you would expect of a UK house veteran.
