Super Tuff Records is a Brooklyn-based deep house label run by M. Vaughan. Inspired by the eccentric style of imprints like Studio Barnhus, Smallville, and Uncanny Valley, Super Tuff will always strive to stay genuine in its celebration of honest and unafraid house music. Each forthcoming EP will be a four track V/A featuring newcomers and established artists alike.
Super Tuff Records' debut EP is a four track V/A that boldly sets the tone for the new project: moody, melancholy, and infectious. On the A-side, Jesse Bru's ""Futaki"" is a sultry cut reminiscent of early Herbert productions, while Richmond deep guru DJ Aakmael serves up the brooding ""Offering"" to smooth out the A2 slot. The B-side sees the label boss himself taking some Detroit inspiration via ""Reel Recognize Reel,"" and closing out the effort is Vienna-based producer Moony Me, with the bittersweet, string-soaked ""Taurora.
