Fresh from editing the Dickens out of "O Superman" and "Pump Up The Jam", Bremen beat-carver Jascha gets busy on Fela Kuti and Bobbi Humphrey. "Soldiers" sees Hagen retaining all of Kuti's vocal command over a dubby Lindstromm-esque groove that pays off with delicious keys on the breakdown. 'Harlem', meanwhile, adds a lush brushed drum backing to Bobbi with extensive psychedelic textures and a lolloping groove that's not dissimilar to Andrew Ashong. Stunning.
