Ever a label to confound expectations, DC's Future Times return with their first transmission of 2015 and lay down some truly mind bending material from Japa Habilidoso. Part of the 40% Foda/Maneirissimo crew out of Rio De Janeiro, Japa Habilidoso's music thus far has been restricted to some low key digital and CDr releases and it's clear from these two cuts his imagination is equalled only by his intensity. Future Times proudly claim this 12" to be the "most punk shit" they've put out and it is hard to disagree. In full flight, "Funk Do Sindicalismo" is a relentless monster, a free jazz take on techno, a collage of percussive rhythms that needs to be deployed when a dancefloor is ready to lose its mind. "Agronomia Setorial" is no less special, with a wonderful piano loop cascading in and out of focus over some drunken drums and marauding stabs. More please Japa.
