There's not one thing wrong with this second release from Finnish imprint Signal Life, which you'd expect when it's been graced by the grubby Midas like touch of Bristol heavyweight Kowton. Kowton is forever moving through sounds and styles like's not quite found his place just yet, but this doesn't hinder the resulting music one bit. Instead it keeps a real freshness present, and here it manifests itself in the style of the smudgy sub heavy dark stepper "Jam". Label co-boss Desto offers a hollowed out 808 heavy remix that probably has all the Soundcloud dwelling trapaholics giddy with excitement. On the flip rising Finn LAS also debuts with a realigned Baltimore Club banger "Low Out" which is given a drastic overhaul from Signal Life's other decision maker Teeth, stripping back proceedings to a low slung outer Galactic grime flex that spirals in all manner of directions with little prior warning. Not one thing wrong with this twelve inch.
