Now down to a trio (having lost Ivan Smagghe and David Shaw along the way), Black Strobe revisit their delightful 2004 electro romp "Italian Fireflies". Standing the test of time (like most of their stuff), if you've not got it in your collection, now is the time. Naturally there's some fresh remix action, and naturally, it's rather good. Our favourite is Richy Ahmed & Corey Baker's reversion that sounds authentically old school but with crisp contemporary production values. But don't stop there; Arnaud Robotini's Detroit mix packs a mean punch and Hey Today!'s slo-mo electro is well worth your ears too.
