Having been championed exclusively by Richie Hawtin for the past six months, this is a track that can't help but leave its mark and one which was
immediately picked up for a licensing opportunity for Claude Von Stroke's Dirtybird label. From the first few notes you know you're in for a ride as the
intro gallops in like a horse from the starting line. The relentless pace continues as the crunchy beat pattern and distinctive riff unfolds and the track
rumbles along with only a pause half way to let the dancefloor catch a breath. The ep comes complete with an alternative version, taking on a more
subtle approach to the original. The track is taken into deeper territory while still maintaining the drive of the original there is added funk. Scotland's
techno pioneers and creators of the seminal Soma label, Slam rose to the challenge and tackled the track flawlessly for the final remix in the package.
The memorable main riff still lingers on but the background becomes a more rolling groove with an edge of darkness, exactly what you would expect
Slam to play in one of their globetrotting DJ sets.
