Just under a year after unleashing the first Internal Affairs compilation, Horizons Music offer up a second dose of decidedly spooky drum & bass. Those who checked the first selection should know exactly what to expect: atmospheric cuts that eschew oft-used rhythms in favour of tight, contemporary drum programming. The line-up of producers on offers is more "up and coming" than "big hitters", but that doesn't seem to have effected the quality. There are some real delights to be found amongst the ten, full-length floor fillers, not least the delicate pianos and starchy beats of album closer "Floodgate" by Data.
