Teaming up with vocalist Alexander East, "Inside" sees Jake laying down a bed of bumping analog bass, chunky house beats, and rich chord stabs behind a trademark Alexander smooth house vocal, resulting a late night house pleaser. Cpen hands in 2 mixes, the first, his "94 To The Floor mix", a true old skool homage, with classic house-styled keys and a more relaxed bassline approach. The "Egyptian Be Bop mix" on the flip has a little more bite to it, with punchy drums, a smoother bassline, and the vocals served up in hookier form, while a great horn line comes into play for more house grooves.
